This is an archive of the LEGO FAQ (frequently asked questions) posted on alt.toys.lego and rec.toys.lego between 1993 and 2000. The FAQ was maintained by Tom Pfeifer and was generally resposted in the newsgroups monthly, though updates became less frequent over time.

A copy of every known revision of the LEGO FAQ is available below; each FAQ was copied directly from an MBOX archive of the two newsgroups and saved as a text file. Minor edits were made to fix broken accent and umlaut characters. The dates listed are the revision dates given in each FAQ; the actual Usenet messages were sometimes posted weeks after the given date and were reposted multiple times with no changes.

The FAQ was also sent via email and was mirrored on various websites, including Paul Gyugyi's FTP archive (earthsea.stanford.edu) and David Koblas's ill-fated WWW server (legowww.homepages.com). The most recent version of the FAQ can still be found on Tom Pfeifer's website.
