Today we have some HUGE news about music. If you belonged to the group that did hear the PC tracks in the game as a kid, you might remember that despite them being incredibly catchy, they always sounded a bit "dull", like they were heavily compressed. There always felt like a part of them were missing, and as a musician myself I've always wondered how the master tracks sounded?

Through an incredibly useful tip from @offtap#2245 I actually got in contact with the original composers of the LEGO Rock Raiders PC tracks: Alan Boorman and Marl Boonyer (listed as Mark Boobyer in the Rock Raiders PC credits). I couldn't quite believe it.

I got answers to essentially all my questions (will find the proper place to post these). For example, the tracks actually have names! The tracks were made inspired by one biome each: Track 1 is "Rock", track 2 is "Ice" and track 3 is "Lava", which some people might have already figured out. But of course there is one question that was more important than the others: Do you still have the original master tracks for LEGO Rock Raiders?

As a matter of fact, they did. And they saw no problem sharing the tracks with us Rock Raiders fans. The tracks were after some discussion uploaded to Marl's SoundCloud.

Without further ado, 24 years later, I'd like to present to you the original un-compressed un-edited master tracks for LEGO Rock Raiders, from Marl Boonyer and Alan Boorman. Please enjoy:

Note 1: Marl has many other great tracks on their SoundCloud that might remind you of Rock Raiders music. Please check out the other tracks, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Give Marl some love!
Note 2: I am awaiting response with regards to if they can enable downloads on SoundCloud and permission to use it for other projects.

The original was posted in a Discord server. The contents have been copied here for use as a source in the LEGO Research Realm article "RockRaiders EP".
